IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE STUDIO?
Yes, there is ample parking available directly outside and around the studio.
IS THE STUDIO ACCESSIBLE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
Yes, the studio is easily accessible by public transport, with a bus stop located just a 5-minute walk away. I’m happy to offer a pickup from Wakefield train station if it’s more convenient for you.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND/ FAMILY MEMBER ALONG?
Yes, my studio comfortably accommodates up to two people, such as a solo artist and one family member or friend. However, if you’re a duo, I’m unable to accommodate an additional guest due to space limitations.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO WRITE A SONG?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. Every song is unique, and the time it takes to complete can vary depending on its complexity. On average, it can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours to craft the lyrics, chords and melody of a song.
WHAT IS MIXING AND MASTERING?
Mixing is the process of combining all the elements of a song, such as vocals and instruments, to create a cohesive and balanced sound. Mastering is the final step, where the track is refined and optimised to ensure it sounds polished and consistent across all devices and platforms.
DO I HAVE TO BE THERE WHEN YOU MIX/ MASTER?
No. I mix and master tracks during weekday evenings and weekends, ensuring we can maximise our time and focus during the recording session.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY FINAL TRACK?
Depending on the song's complexity, your finalised track will typically be ready within 2–3 working days.
CAN I REQUEST CHANGES TO THE FINAL TRACK?
Absolutely! While I'm confident you'll be happy with the final result, I offer up to 3 mix revisions per song to accommodate any adjustments you’d like to make. (Please note: Mix revisions include volume, effects, and other sound adjustments. Any changes to lyrics or vocal takes will require re-recording, which will incur an additional cost.)
IN WHAT FORMAT WILL THE TRACK BE PROVIDED?
Your final song will be delivered in both MP3 and WAV formats via email. I can also provide an instrumental version of the track (without vocals) upon request.
